Born on May 7, 1936, in Xenia, Ohio, Anthony Ben (Tony) Fadely was raised in that state and married Karis Elizabeth Stahl there in 1957. He obtained his Master of Divinity degree, then moved his family in 1965 to Liberia, West Africa, where he worked as a missionary for 13 years, obtaining a Doctor of Ministry degree along the way. Tony’s wife, Karis, died in 1978, and a year later he married Vera Hughlett. The couple moved to Cocoa, FL, in 1981, where Tony was a pastor at a number of area churches, eventually founding Whole Loaf Worship Center and serving as its senior pastor until his death. He was well-known and beloved in the community and active in many different circles ranging from local sports programs to anti-drug abuse campaigns to civic celebrations. Tony went to be with our Lord, Jesus, on Saturday, February 27, 2010, after suffering a massive stroke. He was 73 years old. We will keep him fondly in our memories and miss him greatly.

Happy Birthday, Dad;
I can only imagine the beauty and the splendor of your new Home in Heaven. I wonder how long it took you to meet all of your dear friends and family who went before you? And the joy of finally resting in the Real Presence of God, with nothing to limit your love -- blessed are you.
Love,
Jonathan

Well - little brother you've finally went and done it. For as long as I have known you - you have normally been late for almost everything including your birth. Now instead of being late you've come early and passed me by on the way to our heavenly home. Well - I know for sure that you are in good company and that you will be preparing a great welcome for the rest of us when our time comes and we arrive to join you and all who have gone before.
To say that I loved you as a brother would be an understatement. You were like my right arm. We were and are connected by our blood and I have always loved you, honored you and I have been so proud of your steadfast love of God and your constant pursuit of knowledge through your listening for His word and the teaching of the Holy Sipirit. You left me far behind in that walk, but I always knew that you would give me answers to my own questions based on your knowledge and the leading of the Lord in your life. I loved to hear you teach the Word and I really enjoyed the services at Whole Loaf when we would attend there. The services were spirit filled and you never failed to hit a nerve about something when you were teaching during those services.
I have so many memories that keep flooding back since you sailed away and I hope I never lose the joy or the ability of rethinking all we have done together, even the times when you were just a little brother agravating me to no end on occasion. You headed out in your quest for knowledge and service to God early in life and we were separated by long distances for much of our adult life, but we were always together in spirit and so it will remain until I can join you and hear you blow that shofar again.
We had always talked about retiring to your dock and sitting there fishing together again as we did at Grandpa Ben's when we were little tykes. Now I will just wait until I join up with you and maybe, if you can spare some time away from the Angels, we just might be able to sit down and see what kind of fish are available there.
Love you Bud and I will see you in the blink of an eye.

Pat Anderson and Jim Hunt
Dear Vera -
We were stunned by the news. Jim spoke so highly of Tony. When I met him in late November 2007, I immediately understood why. Tony had an aura about him - understanding and caring, non judgemental and with a wisdom and humility that comes from being a servant of God. I am saddened that we only had a brief time of knowing him (Jim said it was about 20 years - I have precious few memories) on this Earth and am comforted by the thought that we will all meet again one day. I sincerely believe that he will continue his work preparing a home for us in Heaven as he had started to work on in Jerusalem. We are glad that God is holding and supporting you in this time and I am eternally grateful that Jim and I have been touched by your faith, kindness and generousity.
With love,
Patricia Anderson and James Hunt

I only had the opportunity to meet him only once, but he greeted me with a warm embrace and had the most kind and regal spirit. I may not have known him, but his presence lives on in his daughter Robin. She took a chance and hired me as her assistant. She is one of the most intelligent women I know. She has taught me how to assist all children as they develop on the elementary level. A wonderful man lives on in his wonderful daughter and family.
Forever Grateful,
Loria

From Florida Today Obituary Guest Book
Dear Fadely family,
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Pastor Tony. He co-officiated our wedding on March 1, 2003. He brought to it not only the beautiful playing of his Shofar, but a wonderful message during the wedding. He administered the Gift of Communion with an unforgettable Jewish message.........one I'm sure not only my husband and I but all our guests will never forget. We just watched our wedding video the other night in commemoration of our 7th anniversary and were touched anew at the words of Pastor Fadely. We will be forever grateful for what he brought to our wedding and ultimately, our lives. We pray that the Mender of Broken Hearts will quickly touch yours.
With sincerest sympathy,
Peter and Val Appleby
Pastor Fadely, our beloved Tony, was a cornerstone for so many people in the world. I am sure God has a much bigger job for Him now. We rejoice that one day soon, very soon, we will be reunited. Tony thank you for your leadeship, steadfast beliefs, your true belief in roots and most of all for being my Brother in Christ.
Tony was truly a man of God, one who I was priviledged to know as a friend and Pastor. He will be sorely missed by all his family and friends; however Heaven has gained a leading citizen and will be hearing Tony's signature shofar call throughout eternity. Wear your many crownes with joy and humble pride for you will surley receive many, my friend. Until we meet again, Trisha and I remain your dear friends.
I worked with Mr. Fadely while employed with Catholic Charities- Mrs. Fadely was one of my instructors at BCC several years ago. Lovely people who indeed "walked the walk." So sorry to hear of his passing.

Roy & Mary Kendall
Dearest Vera & Family at Whole Loaf,
Words cannot express (ain mileem) our deep feelings at this time. Our tears are mixed with sorrow, sadness, joy and peace... Tony passed from this life into the next right after we returned to Israel and I can't help but feel that he requested a stopover in Jerusalem for one last gaze before returning with Yeshua in the clouds one day! Tony has been such an inspiration and blessing to me, Mary, Chip & Marianne over our 20yrs here in the Land. Each time we passed through Cocoa it was a highlight to stop by whether for a cup of coffee or a service. And of course there were MANY phone calls and some visits here as well. Having traveled to at least 52 countries, I can truly say we have never heard anyone play the shofar as smoothly, richly and anointed as Pastor Tony... our friend.
Vera, please know that our hearts are with you, and we will continue to enjoy time with you whenever we are there, and you are always welcome to spend some time with us here in Eretz Yisrael... the Land that Tony loved so well because as he always taught, this is the place where "the world will see & know that He is God!"
We look forward to the day we will see Tony again. Well done thou good and faithful servant... enter into the glory set before you...
All our love, Roy & Mary

The Celebration last night was Awesome.
I so appreciate Pastor and Vera and all that they are in the "Body". I say are because as long as any of us, that were touched by this angel - by definition a messanger from YHVH, are still walking in the land of the living he is still walking and touching through us.
Last night there was a time of personal tribute, all of us have one - here is mine.
When I think of Pastor Tony I see him as a visual aide for the Malachi 3:3. The refiner holds the silver in the fire until He sees His reflection clearly - without distortion, flaw or fog. When that is accomplished the refining is finished.
It was easy to see the face of ABBA in Tony. It is a fact that he was that "set apart" vessel used of YHVH. Now he stands in the "Holy of Holies" worshiping his first true love.
Thank you Tony & Vera for letting us all into your lives.
By Your SPIRIT YHVH,
Selah & Shalom, Monette

I just wanted to thank the Fadely family for posting & sharing all the wonderful pictures of Dad Tony & his beautiful family...many wonderful memories are etched in some for all of us - what keepsakes! Also, I'm enjoying reading the many stories here of how Tony touched so many lives. He was truly one of a kind! Peace & comfort to Mom Vera & her family.

Rev. Terry Highland
Dear Vera & Family,
What a gift Tony is to you his family and to us his friends. Tony always had the joy of the LORD in his heart, and he was willing to share it with others. I was blessed to know him and be under his counsel at Whole Loaf. Tony worked with many pastors in our community helping heal and restore many. He is a man of GOD and is alive and healed in heaven. I thank GOD for the honor to have known Tony here on earth. He was a great teacher. He lives on in his wife and children and those of us who were fortunate to walk alongside him over the years.
May GOD bless and comfort you until you see Tony again.
Fr. Terry Highland

To Vera & Family,
You are in my thoughts and my prayers always.....My God bless and keep you as you transition into this new season of your life. If you need anything please let me know.
To Tony:
I will miss you Tony and all of your wisdom. You taught me so much about counseling, Pastoring, and how to believe in myself. Though good times and bad, I knew that your door was always open to talk to, and your arms were always filled with love. I think of how excited I was to learn about jewish roots, and how it has become apart of me. I still chuckle when I think back at how I had to learn how to sign (sign language) in hebrew. :-) it was definately challenging, but fun too!
Like the song says " Thank You, for giving to the Lord, I'm a life that was saved." You will Never be forgotten. I picture you with a golden shofar standing at the throne of God, playing for only him.
Shalom my friend, I love you.

Vera - My love and prayers are with you. Tony certainly lived life fully in the Spirit and he had a wonderful helpmate in you. I can truly say there have been few who have loved me unconditionally as you two did at a critical time in my life. I hold you in my heart, always. Blessings, Jeanie Smart

It is wonderful and not surprising to hear how Tony was a father figure to so many people. We moved away from the Cocoa area 7 years ago and we still feel like family when we come and visit at Whole Loaf Worship Center. Rabbi/Pastor Tony was so wonderful with children. He always made my daughter feel special and loved, as he did all of us. We will miss him greatly. I pray shalom and blessings to you Vera in this time.

My Dearest Dad,
From the first step I took into Whole Loaf (Clearlake) I felt the spirit of shalom and love, I took a deep breath, got hugs and knew I would never be the same. That was over ten years ago. I found a family that would love and be there no matter what. Pastor Tony has NEVER had a bad word no matter what the situation. He had the kindest and gentlest spirit and nothing was ever too difficult for him to handle. He has helped me grow and taught me to enjoy every minute of life. He always had time when I asked him a question especially about the Bible and always had a positive answer no matter what the controversy. I will miss the haircuts, talks and laughs we had. My heart is saddened but my spirit is rejoiced that you will be blowing your shofar for the King of Kings. You are so loved and you will be missed my dad. There is no other like you. Blessings and Shalom your daughter Debora

Pastor Will Bawgus
A man that I can call my dad and my Pastor. I would not be alive today if it was not for this man to take me in when no one else would, love me when no one else should, and hug me in when no one else could.
I will miss him and our teaching times together and our special times on radio. Its going to be hard at first, but he has taught us all and given us all who have known him an important task and that is to show everyone unconditional love, no matter what faith background, color, or even religion. Pastor Tony would always find the spark of G-d in each person and turn that spark into a flame or a gift so those individuals could go and teach and/or share the same love and teaching with others.
Baruch Atah Adoni Elohenu Melch HaOlam is how he started each prayer which says in English, "Blessed are You L-rd our G-d, King of the universe.
May the YHVH Bless you and keep you May He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you May He lift up His countenance on you, and grant you His Peace.
I love you dad and will mis you, but I will continue and grow in all the things you passed down to me. Thank you for your strength, love, grace, mercy, kindness, goodness and Shalom.

Pastor Tony,
Wow, what a Blessing and an Honor to have had you in my life. Thank you Lord for this perfect creation! My husband, my son, and I would not have been here if not for you Pastor Tony.
Here is a brief account of how it went: I was going to a church where I lived and was feeling hungry like I needed more. My husband who was hundreds of miles away heard a radio station on a Thursday night and told me about it. So weeks later I listened to it and decided I would go to Whole Loaf. So I did and sat in the back and started my way into being fed what I had long hungered for
The beginning: I began coming on Shabbat with my son Elijah and learned Hebrew. Everytime I saw Pastor Tony a joy and a peace came over me He picked Elijah's shofar and there began a new fruit. He became a spiritual father to me & I finally felt like I was at home with my family at Whole Loaf. Thank you Yeshua! How faithful You are! Pastor Tony was truly a strong and powerful man of God. His stories of witnessing @ Walmart are not unforgotten. How many do you know who witness to people @ Walmart?! Many times Pastor would walk us to our car and speak rich Blessings over my son and I. Thank you Yeshua!
Meeting with my Dad: My father, who was visiting from Chicago, came to Whole Loaf (the same day Joe came with his aliens video). Well it was an appointed meeting b/c unbeknownce to anyone except my father and I my father had a fascination with those beings of the unknown. It was such a Blessing for him to be here when he was and to hear and learn the truth about those beings. Thank you Yeshua! During that service Pastor Tony gave the message. What a Blessing! My father bragged about him even until today about what a wise man he is. He called him my Rabbi and even told people back in Chicago about him. You would have to know my father to understand what an honor this is. My father has only ever spoken of Billy Graham in such high regard. He said he wished he lived here b/c he would go to church here b/c of him.
Marching in a parade: I remember the parade we marched in together while I rolled my son in his stroller. What a Blessing! Pastor Tony blew the shofar so much his lips were swelled and almost blue. But the crowd LOVED it! Marching in the streets of Cocoa for Hanukah blowing holes in the Heavenlies and calling down Blessings over the people of Cocoa. Thank you Yeshua!
Moving into a new apartment: I would've never guessed that I would be moved into my new apartment in 2008 by my seventy plus year old Pastor and kind friend Rich. And up and down a long flight of stairs several times. All I had as a thank you were some bananas, cold water, sandwiches and a sweet coffee cake dessert which Pastor Tony took home (and really enjoyed). When all was moved in (the entire apartment!) an even greater Blessing I experienced! Pastor Tony anointed my front door and blew the shofar to Bless our new home! Thank you Yeshua!
Sunday morning: My husband and I decided to go to Whole Loaf one Sunday morning. Little did we know we would be greeted by Pastor Tony and Vera alone. What a Blessed and comforting meeting that was! The Lord had appointed that day and knew we'd be there with them two alone for a purpose. Thank you Yeshua!
The last I remember: One Shabbat we came to Whole Loaf and as we walked in Pastor Tony looked @ us and said you are growing (he was talking to Karlo and I). Now you may not know why that was important but that would be another story. We've been through a lot and have come a long way. I am Blessed that Pastor Tony was able to see the good. Thank you Yeshua and Thank you Pastor Tony!

Bishop Bennie D. Warner
To the family of the Reverend Anthony B. Fadely, Anna and I do want to express our heart felt sorry and sympathy for the home going of our friend and brother. I can never forget the friendship and the working relationship, Tony and I had in Liberia. Tony was in charge of the program God Power Movement - and evangelistic outreach ministry started by Bishop S. Trowen Nagbe and followed-up and supported by me when I succeeded Bishop Nagbe. Through the God Power Movement program the Holy Spirit of God swept across Liberia and many cam to know the love of God and there was evidence of the growth of the church. tony's contribution the the work of the Libeia annual Conferenc will always be remembered and cherished. May god Almighty grant you grace and peace and hope in times like these and in the times to come. Sincerely and respectfully, Bennie D. Warner and Mrs. Anna Warner

Some are called to worship, some are called to preach. Some are called to follow, some are called to lead. My Uncle Tony listened whenever he was called, and with profound faith, acted. I can think of no finer way to live one's life. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Shalom
From the first moment I set foot in Whole Loaf I knew this is where The Lord wanted me to be. Pastor Tony greeted me with a hug, a warm welcome, and Vera gave me a small loaf of warm bread. Pastor Tony opened my eye's and my heart to Torah. Through him I finally understood what it meant to hunger for the word. Pastor Tony, your Sunday service was all way's the highlight of my week. You turned my heart on to the Word, and the sound of the Shofar. I have yet to hear anyone who could make a Shofar sing like Pastor Tony. I have tried to find a Church like Whole Loaf, and a Pastor like Tony since I moved to Missouri, but there are none to be found. Thank you for the online Torah Studies. They always make me feel as if I setting right there with you. I shall miss your voice. I am looking forward to seeing you again in our Father's House. Perhaps when I see you again you will have taught the Angels to make their Shofars Sing!
Pastor Tony you will sorely be missed.
